If you are a DCBC Occupational Diver and have been certified for not less than 1 year with more than 50 occupational dives then you qualify to register for the Supervisor course.
The focus on the Supervisor course is the application of the current CSAZ275.2-20 Operational Code, review of the current CSAZ275.4-13 Competency Code along with applicable provincial Occupational Health & Safety Rules. During the training students will develope a decision making matrix which will include a 'Hazard Identification Risk Assessment' (HIRA) and 'Job Safety Analysis' (JSA).
The program is 32 hours in length and is delivered over 4 days.
