Commercial Diving Institute of Canada (CDI)
Is committed to deliver all the CORE academics in a manner that promotes health & safety during COVID-19. During this time CDI will be maximizing the time spent on the CAT-1 Barge as the health authorities have identified being outdoors as one of the safest environments to avoid transmission of COVID-19. The success of the CDI program will be based on both staff and students being adaptive to the new educational normal during these challenging times. Staff will work to ensure a safe delivery of the academic & practical components by monitoring all Public Health Office & WorkSafe BC safety notifications. Staff and students will remain adaptive to changes in the program delivery based on recommendations through the Ministry of Advanced Education, British Columbia Public Health Office, WorkSafe BC, Diver Certification Board of Canada and the International Marine Contractors Association.
Please review carefully the COVID-19 policies that provide clear and detailed information that enable CDI to work with both domestic and international students in a manner that meets all currently published provincial, federal and diving regulatory health guidelines.
All International and Domestic Students entering into Canada will be required to read and sign that they acknowledge the attached COVID-19 Quarantine and Administrative / Educational Policies. The Admissions Office will provide guidance to ensure all the required documentation is prepared prior to departure to Canada.
